Cramer camps challenge players to think about the game of basketball on a higher level. They also give them the tools to understand and enjoy the process of improvement. Through this process, players gain the knowledge of what it takes to train on their own at a high and efficient level.

Cramer teaches players how to enhance all aspects of their game as well as athletic development and leadership characteristics. Cramer demonstrates and explains the purpose of each drill.

Skills Camp

  • Focuses on becoming the all-around player that every team needs
  • Learn to create, maintain and attack space off the dribble
  • Think beyond the fundamentals and take your game to the next level

The Skills Camp covers a wide variety of skills necessary to play the game at a high level.  This camp covers correct use of footwork, post moves, passing angles, and correct defensive positioning, delivering the foundation that every player needs. The Skills Camp builds individual skills but, may include controlled scrimmaging situations.  This camp requires at least two days (12 hours minimum) of training.

This multi-skill camp can be adjusted to the level of player, age range and skill focus requested by the host bringing in Cramer Basketball.  The camp generally has about 40 players, and the number of participants is contingent on the size of the gym in use.

Attack Skills Camp

  • Covers the areas that great shooters have in common and the common mistakes many shooters make
  • Speed up release and improve accuracy using specially designed drills
  • Increase shooting range

This camp breaks down shooting from the foundation to the fingertips on the follow through. Players will leave camp with the knowledge, drills and improved skill to become the shot maker that every team needs.  Many players can shoot in practice but cannot take and make game shots. This camp provides game situation drills and details making players more comfortable taking and making game shots, whether it be off the catch, dribble, reads without the ball and more.  See why these camps sell out on a regular basis.

Finishing & Shooting Camp

  • Footwork finishes that make the game easier to finish around the rim
  • Speed up a players release and improve accuracy
  • Covers common principles that make for great shooters

Regardless of size and position, every player needs to be able to finish at the basket. Many players can get to there, but few can consistently finish or make the right play. This camp gives each player a better understanding of how to read the defense, create for others, and finish at the hoop. This camp also covers a wide variety of shooting skills and drills to allow players to be more comfortable with their shot in a game situation.

This camp is recommended for players 7th grade and up, unless previously approved by Cramer Basketball.  (24 player maximum)

Elite Skill Camp

Elite Skill Camp is for point guards and wing players that are serious about their game.

Players will participate in advanced basketball drills focusing on multiple skills at the same time.  Players will learn to read the offense and defense both on and off the ball.  Players will also learn to create for others by drawing multiple defenders and the many options of the ball screen. At this camp, players learn to become the player that makes everyone else better. Players will be put in 1 on 1 and other controlled game situations to apply their skills.
