Rising Tide Basketball is a 501c3 organization serving girls in the greater Myrtle Beach Area led by Director and Coach Steve Cramer of Cramer Basketball and Coach Kelli Shanafelt of Rising Tide Inc. We are excited to announce that tryouts for the 2026 season will be held on February 17th and 24th from 6:30-8:00 pm in Surfside, SC.
Players are encouraged to attend both tryout dates.
Coach Cramer will have a short informational meeting for parents and players at the beginning of the tryout and will be available for Q & A after the tryout dates as well, sharing team costs, practice locations, etc…
Tournament Dates and practice schedules will be communicated to parents of those selected for the team.
If selected, it is important to know that playing on other travel basketball teams during the March-June Rising Tide season will not be permitted.
- 5th Grade team: Mostly Local Tournaments
- 6th Grade team: Mostly Local but will include a tournament in Charleston as well as North Carolina.
- 7th Grade team: Mostly Local Tournaments
All tournament scheduling is subject to change.
